Mid morning matters how many episodes

Alan and Sidekick Simon continue to entertain north Norfolk's avid radio listeners with their inimitable mix of edgy banter and compelling anecdotes. Alan joins North Norfolk breakfast host Terri Cohen, filling in for her regular co-host to review the morning's papers. On his own show, Alan is joined by internet millionaire Daniel Langford to talk about technology. Along with new 'banter jockey' sidekick Zoe Scott, Alan is joined in the studio by agony aunt Polly Maplin.

He later opens up to Zoe about his father, and sports a rather fetching raspberry pink jacket. Partridge's poor taste, treachery and general cringeworthy-ness have been his iconic characteristics throughout several classic series and a feature film that have become British comedy heritage.

The return of Alan Partridge to the screen delighted the fans of his previous incarnations, even though there were hesitations that the spirit might be long-lost. The ratings, however, have not been high at all.

Only 60, viewers tuned in to watch the series two premiere on February 16, , which is less than a half of the first series' premiere viewership of , Many attribute it to the unpopularity of Sky Atlantic that many people simply don't have access to.

In any case we have yet to hear the network's decision on the future of Mid Morning Matters, so please stay tuned for updates. Tim Key is actually better in the film but here he is still pretty funny and he "awkwards" well next to Coogan. Duffy has a simpler role on the face of it essentially she is a pretty face to allow Coogan to play a certain way but she still does it well, playing along until she hits an awkward wall — Coogan gets the laughs but she often did as much of the work.

I'll make an effort to seek out if there are more of these episodes around or not because I did enjoy this series. It is simple and, in its simplicity it allows Alan to be Alan and more often than not this is engaging, funny, painful and awkward all in equally entertaining measures. Details Edit.
